Eloi:- In The Time Machine

By the year AD 802,701, humanity has evolved into two separate species: the Eloi and the Morlocks. The Eloi are the childlike, frail group, living a banal life of ease on the surface of the earth, while the Morlocks live underground, tending machinery and providing food, clothing and infrastructure for the Eloi. Each class evolved and degenerated from humans. The novel suggests that the separation of species may have been the result of a widening split between different social classes, a theme that reflects Wells's sociopolitical opinions.

Announcements

Beloved announced that she will be stepping down as Group Leader as of January 1st 2015.

However she will still be part of The G.E.M. ~ GROUP & part of the group leader's meetings.

As she stated her passion is no longer there to be a group leader, due to the fact she just doesn't have the time to give the attention & passion that is required toward this postition.

Beloved would like to see someone step in who will give the love and passion & attention as the group leader, that is postition warrants.

While some members expressed there reservations & concerns of seeing her stepped down, every member gave her a Big Thank You for putting this group together & giving us the opporutnity to gain useful information & to grow close as a family.

Grateful said "As a new member I see The G.E.M. GROUP growing on a different level & supporting different causes.

I'm very excited about the possibilites of The G.E.M. ~ GROUP!!

Keeping It Real said it best....Remember the lesson we gave in Storming; Norming & Forming...with the upcoming changes for 2015 we must allow this happen...Some people will be moving on in other directions or have other responsiblities, therefore we will need others to step up & fill in the gap, so we can continue to move foward.

"With these changes or any of life changes...You may have to look at this situation like rearranging furniture, you're not getting rid of your favorite couch or chair, your just making room for growth & space to what is already there!"
