KIR : Confirmed you can fill out a complaint form to the Office Of Comptroller Currency Dept electronically!

Remember you must fill out the complaint within 40 mins!

 

Grateful: Read a post on Dinar Recap, it was an article from CNBC regarding The Buying of Emerging Markets Currency. The currencies that were mentioned were South Koren Yuan; Indian Rupee & Malaysian Ringgit. Although the Iran Rial was not mentioned in the article, there was a picture of different currencies being show & the Iran Rial was one of them.  If you are not sure which type of Iran currency to buy, you can go to CBI.IR to see which currency is best to invest.

RV Hunter: For those that are interested in investing in the emerging markets, keep in mind Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) is now hook up to NASDAQ...you should look into mutal funds or invest in the companies that are now building in Iraq, such as:

Japan is building a Monorail

Harly Davidson is building a factory

Mercerdes Benz & GE Electric

just to name a few

 

2nd Basket

 

 Grateful & Keeping It Real was speculating of when the 2nd Basket will be out, and which currencies will be involved.

Deekin suggested getting a GCR list to see which currency maybe in the next basket, which Deekin's opinion is sometime in

October 2015.

Hope44 reminded the group that a year ago, Tony had said that the 2nd basket will be required to have at least 10 million or more to invest! It's been said, that they don't want that many people involved in the 2nd basket.

Butterfly57 concerns were how is that possible, who have the authority to say who can invest & give a stimpulation?

RV Hunter mentions that the Dodd Frank Act, has put into the banking law that you must have 10 million investable liquid assets & you must make 250K per year for the last 2yrs!

 

** Editor's note ~ However; where there is a will....there is a way**

 

Deekin stated there is a loophole or a workaround that we all must look into....Dodd Frank Act does not effect certain Financial Insitution Banks, nor State Banks & Trust Banks, they don't adhere to those rules...please google non-Dodd Frank Banks listing or State & Trust Banks

 

 

3rd Discussion

 

Blk Pearl recieved a call from her friend who works at Travelex (during our conference call) she was told that she recieved a memo stating you can no longer buy or sell Dinars at Travelex as of Friday 06/12... She was not given a reasonable answer when she inquire within as far as she can go up to upper management.

RV Hunter said he will check to see if the Travelex in his area (New York) will be following the same procedure.

As of Monday 06/22/15 RV Hunter contacted Blk Pearl & confirmed that Travelex in his area are no longer handling the Dinar!

RV Hunter reminded the group that major banks were notified...Iraq notifed banks worldwide that the dinar will be exchanged

1 to1...so in order to do this banks & money changer had to stop buying & selling the dinar...so it make since that Travelex would be effected too!

 

Conclusion

 

Price Is Right

Blk Pearl need names to those who plans to go to The Price Is Right on Sept. 29th, no later than July 6th.  The producers will need to know how many seats The G.E.M. ~ GROUP requires?  Although we are holding 40 seats at this time, realistically we hope to have 20-30 members, if necessary we will use some of our family and friends to fill the needed seats.

Blk Pearl will also be looking into Airlines & Hotel discounts for the group (if possible with Southwest Airlines...not a promise just an angle  she is looking into....to help those in the group that really need help with airfare & hotel accomdations)

Faith Forward suggested Priceline...she has used them repeatedly & have found they have very very good deals, with Airline fare; Hotel rates & Car Rentals

We still need our T-Shirts to represent The G.EM. ~ GROUP, so we are asking for a committee, keep in mind August 3rd will be the deadline for the approval of our T-Shirts, so we have time to get them made & purchased.

 

Juneteenth

Deekin gave the group the meaning behind Juneteenth:

Juneteenth or June 19, 1865, is considered the date when the last slaves in America were freed. Although the rumors of freedom were widespread prior to this, actual emancipation did not come until General Gordon Granger rode into Galveston, Texas and issued General Order No. 3, on June 19, almost two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on September 22, 1862.

Although there is at least 200 citites that celebrate Juneteenth...Texas (and Oklahoma) is the only state that has made Juneteenth a legal holiday!
