BettyBoop: Introduced our guest Mr. Gerald Alexander, who offers a high tech security surveillance system.  He explained that this system is so high tech that he is in the process of installing his system to the government in Africa. Beloved: Comment ~ It was stated the intitials G.E.M. could stand for God's Elite Members.  She ask the group how they felt about the name change?

DNC: Comment ~  He felt the word Elite should not be used;  he stated it should be shown thur you heart;  but not on our Website.

Beloved & Faith Forward: Comments ~ Loved the fact that we are God's Elite, for his children are the most precious. (summarizing)

BoMonkey: Comment ~ He does not like the word Elite, it make him feel that we are better than anyone else!

BettyBoop: Comment ~ I do not feel comfortable using the word "God"  We are all from God, no matter what your religion;faith; creed or polictical view. "Going the Extra Mile" is very powerful, most people wouldn't go 1/2 of a mile. The loudest way to say who we are is to just BE IT!

 

The group voted and the majority was "Going the Extra Mile"....Keeping It Real made a motion that we moved forward with Going The Extra Mile & it was 2nd.

Beloved: Response ~ The G.E.M. Group can interact in Joint Ventures Investment, or continue to get educated to learn & grow.

Tessie: Response ~ To protect our Humantian Projects collectively & indiviually.

Paradise Plum: Response~ To continue to get educated on financial strategy & in the future look into 501 (c)(3)

 

BettyBoop: Request The G.E.M. Group that we get to know the Parliamentry Procedures, so we can conduct a more business like meeting.  She also suggested that we read "Robert Rules of Order" (please visit our Recommended Articles Section for link to Free Online Book)
