I usually write about positive things..... Because I don’t see the point in bitching about what’s wrong. Something will always be imperfect. Something will always be broken.

But, I think it’s important every now and again to stop and acknowledge how hard life can be. Because sometimes, it can be really, really damn hard. Sometimes, you’ll be in seasons where you have to go through an unimaginable kind of pain.

 

• You’ll wake up in the morning feeling exhausted and wonder how you can get your energy and zest back for life.

• You’ll get hurt or lose your health and not be able to do things you once took for granted.

• You’ll run out of money, and wonder how you are going to make it another week.

• You’ll find out someone you love is dying.

• You’ll feel totally lost, wondering what your purpose is. 

• You’ll struggle with whether you are lovable, and worthy of love.

• You’ll realize you fell out of love with your husband or wife. 

• You’ll lose your job.

• You’ll lose a company you started.

• You’ll walk away from the great love of your life. 

• You’ll wrestle with the most intense kind of loneliness imaginable.

 

There will be moments—seasons—in your life when things feel hopeless. You lose confidence in yourself. You lose trust in others. You hit rock bottom. Your former view of the world, people, work, relationships, love crumbles. You’ll have to deal with things you don’t want to, and say goodbye to people you do.

 

It won’t feel good. It won’t make sense. 

When you hit that moment, I want you to STOP.

Stop moving, stop thinking, stop letting your heart race faster than the rest of your body can keep up with. 

Take a really BIG, deep breath.

 

If you’re alive, there’s a reason for it. I don’t know much—-I'm trying to figure things out too, and coming up with theories to help me make sense of it all. I don’t have all the answers. I don’t know why loss, and pain, and heartbreak happen the way they do.

 

But I know for sure that if you’re alive, there’s a reason for it. 

 

God put you on this planet to do something incredible. 

 

• To build something unforgettable.

• To love more people than you’d ever expect to love, better than they’d ever expect you to love them. 

• To learn lessons that will forever change you.

• To lose hope, and then get it back again, stronger. 

• To find and understand God.

• To experience pain, if only to help you see how strong you are in the overcoming of it.

• To fall in love...even if only to remind you of your capacity to love someone.

• To meaningfully connect to the people and the world around you. 

• To adventure..... To explore new places, leaving you with fresh eyes. 

• To find your meaning and purpose in the context of it all.

• To experience what it’s like to have a soul full of gratitude, for the joy and for the pain.

 

So, can you feel that? 

Your heart is beating. 

You’re alive. 

There’s a reason.

Faith Forward Motivational Speech

Hold On & Trust God!

 

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

 

Faith Forward: God will not lead you astray...friends will; coworkers will; some family members will....But God words says "Yes & Amen" and he will not lead you on the wrong path!

Matthew 21:21-22

Then Jesus told them, "Truly, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more.  You can even say to this Mount of Olives, "Move over in the ocean, and it will. 

You can get anything-------anything you ask for in prayer---if you believe."

 

Faith Forward: People we got to start speaking to some mountains!  We need to speak to whatever it is you want....bank accounts; mailbox; relationships; children!

Speak the word of God !!

 

We need to 'Trust & Hold" & Believe & Receive"

 

Peacemaker: Comment ~ I feel as if you were speaking to me.  I have been feeling very down, in fact I didn't feel like coming on this conference call today.  But I believe God sent me here tonight to hear you speak & to quit complaining.  You have really motivated me!

 

Faith Forward: Response to Peacemaker ~ Ask God for his stragery & solution.  He will give it you!  He has worked so many miracles for me over the past 6 months! You have to trust him and believe!

 

KIR: Comment to Faith Forward ~ The first time I heard you speak, I heard the annoiting in your voice.  Thank you for being there & listening to my cries. 

To Peacemaker: There is a sisterhood here, so reach out!  We are here for each other in so many ways!

Dance All Night: Comment ~(With tears & full of exhaustion) I feel so drained....I have encouraged people all the time.  I really need the RV to happen to help those around me.  Sometime I don't feel encouraged myself.

Tessie: Comment to Dance All Night ~ (With tears) I have gone through so much lately, some you will never know...but when things get so hard hold on to God he'll get you through it!
